Tell us about your story
We're a team of former photographers and computer vision engineers who became fascinated with the gap between AI-generated images and real-world usability. While everyone was chasing the 'create anything' dream, we focused on solving specific image generation problems really well. The 'aha moment' came when one of our founders needed headshots for a speaking engagement but couldn't decide between three outfits. He wished he could digitally swap clothes instead of doing multiple photoshoots. That sparked the idea for Collart.ai. What started as a simple photo tool quickly evolved when we noticed users were generating business headshots, then immediately generating 5-10 variations with different outfits. The problem was that each generation would slightly change their pose or expression, creating an uncanny valley effect when viewed together.
What does your brand sell?
Collart.ai is an AI-powered video and photo generator app based in Singapore. We've created an intuitive platform that helps users generate stunning, professional-quality images and videos with just a few taps. Our standout feature is professional headshot generation with consistent clothing variations, particularly valuable for job seekers, small business owners, and professionals who need multiple headshots with different outfits but identical poses and expressions.
How did you discover FASHN?
We were on a mission to solve a critical pain point for our users: achieving consistent clothing variations in their generated photos. After testing several virtual try-on APIs, we found that FASHN performed best in most cases. We immediately realized that this was our ideal choice, much like slipping into a perfectly fitting pair of jeans on your first try!
