Introduction

This is a story about SublimeWax, a unique fashion brand based in France, who designs African-inspired collections for women, men and children. SublimeWax have been using the FASHN web app to help them generate AI models that fit their brand image, as well as showcase their incredibly detailed designs with our virtual tryon technology.

SublimeWax’s Story

Founded by two sisters, the idea for SublimeWax originated during the COVID pandemic. The older sister owns a sewing shop in Africa, where she creates beautiful designs that weren’t quite suited for a Western lifestyle. Together, they came up with the idea of offering an African-inspired collection adapted to Western living—connecting unique African designs with everyday garments and accessories anyone can wear. They also proudly partner with local artisans to create beautifully crafted, high-quality accessories.

SublimeWax is successfully bringing African-inspired fashion into everyday life, enabling enthusiasts to wear vibrant and colorful patterns without waiting for a special cultural event.

Challenge

Professional photoshoots are inherently expensive, often requiring substantial investments in photographers, stylists, studio rentals, and high-end equipment. Additionally, the process is time-intensive, from planning and scheduling to the detailed post-production work needed to perfect each image. For smaller brands, these costs and time demands can quickly become overwhelming, limiting their ability to grow and compete effectively.

Solution

FASHN has completely transformed the process of creating professional-quality fashion photoshoots for SublimeWax. Using FASHN, they were able to create countless AI models that fit their brand’s image and audience, and successfully generate complex, vibrant try-ons of their colorful graphic prints and patterns on these models. This is made possible by our in-house developed virtual try-on technology, designed to preserve even the finest details with remarkable accuracy.

It’s important to emphasize that while SublimeWax is leveraging AI models to create more content for their fashion brand, they continue to work with real models and have no intention of replacing them entirely. This aligns perfectly with the vision we endorse at FASHN.

How it Works

Here’s a simple example of the flow for creating an AI model and try-on:

1. Sign Up: Start by signing up on the FASHN web app and navigating to the Studio.

2. Generate an AI Model: Under the model image, click on ‘Generate AI Model’. You’ll find a text input to write your custom prompt or select from our pre-made prompts to create your model. In just 1–2 seconds, your model will be ready.

3. Try-On a Garment: Choose the garment image of your choice and click Run!

It’s that simple and quick to bring your designs to life.
